Join 'Best Developer In Vietnam 2019', the competition to find the best programmers

Best Developer in Vietnam 2019 is a contest for developers organized by PYCOGroup and partners Ansarada, MessageMedia and YellowPepper. All programmers in Vietnam, from students to experts can register to participate.

Best Developer in Vietnam 2019 starts from October 1, 2019, candidates will have the opportunity to challenge themselves in programming problems combining the necessary skills at work. They must come up with the best solution to convince the board.

Best Developer in Vietnam 2019 has a total award of up to 250 million, winning the first prize will receive a reward worth VND 130 million.

To participate in the Best Developer in Vietnam 2019 contest, candidates will first have to undergo an online test on HackerRank.

Here, you will have to answer multiple-choice questions and coding challenges. The 80 best people will officially compete in 5 challenging rounds, the last round will take place on November 30, 2019 in Ho Chi Minh City.

Round 1: Endurance - Endurance: time 2 hours

BTC will present programming problems with increasing difficulty. The task of the contestants is to gradually solve those problems to get points. Candidates' 'solutions' will be automatically scored based on many aspects such as time efficiency, memory efficiency, data structure .

Round 2: Focus - Ability to focus: time 30 minutes

Candidates will have to answer 30 questions about the software development process within this round. The score is achieved based on the number of correct answers in the shortest possible time. 40 contestants with the highest scores will enter the third round.

Round 3: Strategy - Strategy: 2 hours

40 contestants will be randomly divided into 20 pairs and will face-to-face one-on-one with each other about software design and architecture solutions. The jury will observe and evaluate each contestant in each of these head-to-head contests. Results will be based on solution, presentation skills and teamwork. The top 20 contestants will enter round 4.

Round 4: Speed ​​- Speed: 30 minutes

In this round, contestants will have to solve all programming tasks required by the API application provided by BTC. Only the three best contestants entered the final round.

Round 5: Confidence - Confidence: time 1 hour 30 minutes

3 contestants will have to solve unexpected situations related to the established work that they do not know anything, like the game show "Thank you here!" (Thank God you're here). Candidates will have to apply their skills, mindfulness to analyze situations . to improvise, overcome the given situations. The best person, who has the best soft skills in handling situations, will win the first prize, awarded a prize of 130 million cash and the title of "Best Developer in Vietnam".
