Vietnam will officially test 5G network in 2019

According to Viettel's latest announcement, the operator will test 5G network in Vietnam in 2019 and deploy it to users by 2021, making Vietnam one of the leading countries in deploying 5G. In addition, the carrier also said it would research and produce equipment for 5G broadcasting stations.

Since 2015, Viettel has established a 5G technology research and development team. Up to now, Viettel has achieved certain achievements, can be mastered: core technology of software for 5G devices, physical layer software design for 5G equipment, designing high frequency transceiver hardware .

Viettel aims to complete a trial of the 5G version 1 broadcast station in 2019, and by 202 it will test the 5G station network.

The 5G network is expected to create a revolution in speed and stability for mobile devices, bringing self-driving car technology, connecting things and cloud computing to a whole new level.

Worldwide, Japan, South Korea, China and some other countries are also expected to deploy 5G by 2019 or 2020.
