Chrome browser has tab group icon to help us group tabs on the browser more quickly and conveniently. However, not everyone wants to use the tab group feature, so they can turn off the tab group icon on Chrome. Below are instructions to turn off the tab group icon on Chrome.

How to disable tab group icon on Chrome

The simplest way is to right-click on the bookmark bar, then turn off Show tab groups. Immediately, the tab group icon on Chrome has disappeared on the bookmark bar. If you want to display this tab group icon again, users just need to re-enable it.

How to disable tab group icon on Chrome

Step 1:

You access the address chrome://flags on the browser as usual. Next, the user enters the flag Tab Groups Save UI Update in the search bar and then clicks on the result below to access the adjustment.

Step 2:

Now we will switch to Disabled mode to cancel the tab group button on the Chrome browser.

Step 3:

Finally, below you click Restart to restart the Chrome browser and apply the new changes.
