1. Compress and decompress files with Winrar software.

Step 2: Compress the data file.

Method 2: Find the file to be compressed, then right-click the file and select Add to archive or Add to "tenfile.rar" to compress the data file.

- If you choose Add to "tenfile.rar , the program will compress the file immediately.

- If you choose Add to archive dialog box Archive name and parameters appears, you can choose to format rar or zip for compressed file and edit the file name in Archive name . Click OK to finish.

Step 3: Extract the data file.

Similar to file compression, there are two ways to extract files.

Method 1: Extract the interface of the Winrar program.

Select the path to the folder containing the file to be extracted, and select the file to be extracted in the file list:

Select Extract To click OK to start extracting.

Method 2: Find the file to extract, right-click the file and select Extract Here, the program will automatically extract.

Or choose Extract files appear Extraction path and options dialog , select OK to extract.

2. Compress and decompress files with Winzip software.

Step 1: Download and install Winzip to your computer.

After installation is complete, open the interface of Winzip:

Step 2: Compress the file with Winzip.

You choose the file to be compressed, right-click File -> Winzip , display the Winzip menu, select Add to Zip files or choose Add to tenfile.zip .

- If you choose Add to Zip file, the program will open the Add dialog box :

You customize some settings, then click Add to start the compression program.

- If you choose Add to tenfile.zip, the program will automatically compress and give a notice of completion.

Click OK to finish the compression process.

Step 3: Extract the file with Winzip.

You choose to extract the file, right-click File -> Winzip .

Then choose Extract to . or Extract to Here .

- If you choose Extract to . the program will let you choose the address to save the file after extracting, then click Unzip to extract the program.

- If you choose Extract to Here the program will automatically extract the file for you.
