How to take screenshots of Samsung Galaxy S8 and S8 +
To take screenshots on the new models Samsung Galaxy S8 and S8 +, you can use the shortcut or follow the options on the device.
Samsung Galaxy S8 and S8 + are two new smartphones, with many different changes from previous Samsung series. In particular and very noticeable is that, the physical Home button with integrated fingerprint sensor has been switched with a virtual Home pen with a fingerprint sensor on the back of the device.
This change will definitely make the user feel unfamiliar as before, resulting in some changes that include screen capture. For previous Samsung models, to take screenshots we will press the Home key and the power lock / open button simultaneously to capture. But on Samsung Galaxy S8 and S8 + physical Home button is gone, how will we take a screenshot?

Method 1: Use the shortcut to take a screenshot of the S8 screen
To take screen shots of Galaxy S8 and S8 +, users can simultaneously press the power lock / open button (on the right hand side) and volume down button (on the left). Hold those keys when you see the flash, and a screen shot will appear after that.
After that, users will have 3 more options including scrolling screen, meaning that the first 2 images will be connected together, used to capture lists or long web pages. Secondly, cut the screen to get the important content in the picture and draw on the top of the content if we want to annotate the content in the picture.
Finally, the photos will be taken to Gallery or in My Files file browser, or Google Photos depending on users' choice.
Method 2: Swipe the screen to take a picture
We hold the device sideways, so that the finger does not touch the screen, and then swipe the entire hand into the screen from left to right . Then you hear a picture sound and a screenshot appears.
This shooting method will be enabled by default on the device. In case the user wants to turn off this feature, go to Settings Menu> Motion and Motions and Gestures> Palm and switch to Off mode to turn it off.
These are two ways to take screenshots of Samsung Galaxy S8 and S8 +. Depending on the convenience to use, we can choose the way to take screenshots according to 1 of 2 above instructions.
