How to Open Windows Explorer
On Windows 8 and 10
Open the Start menu. Click the Windows icon in the lower left corner of the screen, or press the key ⊞ Win.
On Windows 8, move the mouse pointer to the upper-right corner of the screen, then click the magnifying glass icon.
Enter file explorerStart. The folder icon will appear at the top of the Start window.
Click File Explorer. This folder-shaped application will appear at the top of the Start window. File Explorer will open.
When File Explorer opens, you can "pin" the application to the taskbar to launch File Explorer with just one click. Right-click the File Explorer icon at the bottom of the screen, then click Pin to taskbar .

Click the icon on the taskbar.
Press ⊞ Win+ E.
Right-click Start and select File Explorer .
Click Start , then click the folder icon on the left.
On Windows 7 and Vista
