How to install WinRAR, compress and decompress data files on your computer

- At Associate Winrar with: Here you select the formats that Winrar supports (Normally you can leave this option as default or if you want Winrar to support all formats in the settings, select Select all )

- At Interface: There are 3 options here, allowing you to create a Winrar startup file on  
+ Add Winrar to Desktop: Create a startup file on the computer screen.
+ Add Winrar to Start Menu: Create a startup file on the Start bar  
+ Create Winrar program group: Create a program group to open with Winrar
- At Shell Integration : Here you are asked to choose the Winrar combination. (You can leave the options as default)
After completing the parameter settings and configuration, select "Ok".

Step 4 : After completing the parameter settings, configuration and " Ok ", a new number appears signaling that the WinRAR installation process is complete.

Instructions for using WinRAR to compress and decompress data

After successfully installing WinRar on your computer, the software is integrated into the right-click menu for you to easily operate and use. In addition, all compressed format files: Rar, rip, . available on your computer will immediately change the icon to be similar to the icon of WinRar software.

1. To compress data files, open the folder you want to compress, right-click and select Add to archive. to compress the data.

The dialog box that appears includes: Archive Name : File name after compression, Archive format : Select the compressed file format. Click OK to compress the data.
