How to install Snagit to take screenshots on your computer.

System requirements: A computer running Windows operating system version 95 or later.

Step 1: Download and install  Snagit

After downloading the software, activate the setup file. A message will inform you that you are installing the software on your computer.

Please check the box that says "I accept the License Terms" to agree to the software's terms of use.  

Step 2: Click on the Options tab to customize the settings, including:

- Destination Folder: select the installation folder.

- Features: Add or remove features from the software.

- Share Destination: Choose software or websites where you can share.

After making your selections, click the Continue button to proceed.

Step 3: Choose the software language. SnagIt offers six main languages: English, German, Spanish, French, Chinese, and Portuguese. Click the language button in the bottom right corner and select your preferred language. Then click Install to begin the installation.

Step 4: Click Yes to continue.

Step 5: The installation process will take a few minutes.

Step 6: After successful installation, click Continue to complete and open the software.

For users who want to download and install version 11, they can follow these steps:

Step 1: Activate the setup file, and the Snagit installation window will appear. It will inform you that you are now installing Snagit software on your computer.

Please click Next to proceed to the next installation step.

Step 2: After clicking Next, a new window will appear. This window will introduce you to the software's terms of use. 

After carefully reviewing the terms and conditions provided by the publisher, check the box next to "I accept the terms in the License Agreement" and click "Next" to proceed to the next step.

After clicking Next to proceed to the next section, the manufacturer offers the option to use Usages data to help increase reliability during use. 

In our opinion, you should leave the default initial setting as "Decide late when Snagit is running". To continue the installation, click Next.

Step 3: After clicking Next, the system will move to the License Status section. This section requires you to register the product's serial number. You can purchase this serial number from software companies or order it online.

You can also try the software for 30 days to evaluate its quality by checking the box next to "30-day trial".

Then, click Next to proceed to the next step.

Step 4: After clicking Next, the system will move to the settings option selection screen. 

This section requires the user to select the software installation mode. There are two installation modes: Typical and Custom.

Typical is the default setting. If you select this mode, the system will install according to the manufacturer's settings. We recommend choosing this mode here.

Custom mode is a manual setting mode, meaning all features are selected and customized by the user.

After clicking Next, the system will automatically move to the installation confirmation section. In this section, the manufacturer asks you to confirm the software installation. 

To begin the installation, press the Install button.

The system will then automatically install the software on your computer.

Step 5: After the installation process is complete, the system will automatically switch to a new window informing the user that the installation is finished. Click Finish to complete the Snagit program installation.

Snagit is an application that allows users to quickly capture screenshots of their computer screen. With this software installed, taking screenshots becomes very fast because Snagit includes built-in image editing tools. This allows you to edit the image immediately after capturing it without having to save and edit it in another software.
