How to install IrfanView to display animated images.

Installation instructions

System requirements:  Computers running Windows 9X/2K/XP/Vista/7/8 or later.

Step 1: Open the folder containing the file named irfanview.exe , or you can download the latest version here: Download IrfanView

Step 2: The manufacturer allows you to place shortcuts for the utility on the Desktop, create thumbnail shortcuts on the Desktop, or create shortcuts on the Windows Start Menu.

You can choose one of these three methods, or select all three and remove them by clicking Uncheck all.

Additionally, in this window, you can change the installation file path by selecting Browser or use the default path (usually located on drive C :).

Click Next to proceed to the next step.

Step 3: In the next step, the latest information and features in the version you are installing will be displayed. 

Click Next .

Step 4 : Choose the image format you want the program to use, selecting one by clicking "Images only" or all formats by clicking " Select all".

Click Next

Step 5 : Choose the folder to store the utility after installation: place it directly in the IrfanView folder by selecting IrfanView folder or in the User's Application Data folder by selecting User's Application Data folder (if you are using Windows Vista/7/8).

Click Next.

Step 6: Wait for a certain amount of time for the installation to begin. Select Start IrfanView if you want to launch the utility immediately after the installation is complete.

After the installation process is complete, the software will have an interface as shown in the image.
