1. Backup data via iTunes , including photos, contacts, messages, data in apps / games.
2. Exit iCloud account, Turn off Passcode , Turn off fingerprint recognition.
3. If your iPhone / iPad / iPod device is running on iOS 6 (not jailbroken), you can update it directly to iOS 7.0.4 via OTA protocol ( Access Setting - General - Software Update ) and Restore (Press Shift + Restore) directly with iTunes.
For the fastest, you can skip the update via OTA and restore ( Shift + Restore ) directly with iTunes.
4. If your iPhone / iPad / iPod device is running on iOS 6 (jailbroken) , then definitely (Shift + Restore) Restore with iTunes.
5. The iPhone / iPad / iPod devices running iOS 7.0, 7.0.1, 7.0.2, 7.0.3 and 7.0.4 can be faulty jailbreak (in case of not being uploaded to OTA in the near future here) .
