Found the world's oldest desert 30 million years

Central Asia Desert is rated as the oldest desert on our planet.

This is the latest discovery by geologist Jeremy Caves of Stanford University and colleagues. He and his team found traces of isotopic carbon in a series of trees lying on the sand in the Central Asian desert.

Specifically, Jeremy Caves and his team found that isotope carbon density - 13 in the desert, this isotope is estimated to last about 30 million years. It reflects many stages of dry, piled and dead trees as well as the rainfall in this Central Asian desert that is extremely rare, harsh in the past .

' It seems that Central Asia desert is the oldest, most ancient and arid desert compared to the rest of the planet on our planet' - Jeremy Caves said.

Meanwhile, the Sahara desert existed about 7 million years ago, and was once greened, river water poured in 6000 years ago. In it, the desert of the western United States, the desert of Uc was wet in the end of the Ice Age.

The effects make the Central Asian desert amazingly dry.
