Discover Sony WF-SP800N noise-canceling wireless headphones

Sony's WF-SP800N headphones offer powerful active noise cancellation (ANC) and some bright features for users to get an engaging experience.

WF-SP800N is sold at 4.79 million VND in Vietnam suitable for many users, including when used in a gym or jog. This product also offers better water resistance than AirPods. The companion app provides user-adjustable EQ, and supports Amazon Alexa and Google Assistant integration.

Design

The headset has white, black, blue and orange versions quite diverse for users to choose. Thanks to the silicon button, it feels stable, fits comfortably and securely, making it ideal for a gym or jog. The IP55 rating of the headset is strong enough to protect against dust and water from all directions, so rain and sweat are not an issue when used.
With one touch of the sensitive surface of the panel outside the left ear will switch to ANC mode, while the right ear is used to control playback, navigation or call management depending on the number of touches.
There is no physical volume control on the headset, instead users can touch and hold the right ear to activate Siri on iOS devices, but can also program it to work with Alexa or Google Asisstant with too Easy setup process.
The Sony Headphones Connect app offers features like 360 Reality Audio (promising a lifelike audio experience), but it also offers some useful functions. For example, the five-band EQ allows users to customize audio settings or choose from a list of presets.

The headset is designed with good water and sweat resistance thanks to the IP55 standard

The app's approach to ANC (labeled Ambient Sound Control) is also helpful. When enabled, there is only one slider: the far left is the full ANC mode. For audio, the headset connects via Bluetooth 5.0 and supports AAC and SBC codecs, but does not support AptX.
The rather large charging case comes with a flip cover and front status LEDs. In particular, the battery life of WF-SP800N is impressive, up to 9 hours with ANC turned on or 13 hours with ANC turned off.

Efficiency

WF-SP800N delivers strong ANC performance. At maximum intensity, it can lower powerful low frequencies like the rumble of a train or plane, while eliminating a wide range of midrange. Despite some high-frequency hiss, it is actually quite common in most ANC headphones today.
Micro pretty smart. Using the Voice Memos application on the iPhone 11 shows that the recording from the microphone is quite strong but not affected by the surrounding sounds.

The included charging box can complement the WF-SP800N on a single charge, lasting up to 9 hours

On tracks with high bass, the headphone sound provides strong, low-distortion feedback. At moderate listening levels, it's still pretty good. After all, those who love deep bass will certainly be pleased with what the headphones bring. Meanwhile, with the music coming from the orchestra, the bass response is aided by the instruments, where the instruments are made to feel ahead. The vocals are raised higher to provide excellent high fidelity clarity and fidelity.
Of course, all of this does not include that users can adjust it with EQ in the application, creating a balance between low and high.

General comment

The WF-SP800N has many things that cannot be ignored, including strong sound performance with full bass depth (and EQ to adjust it), good water resistance, safety and especially performance. Strong ANC rates compared to the price.
This makes the product a worthwhile option for Android users when compared to Apple's AirPods Pro headset line, which only works effectively when using an iPhone.
