After launching Vivobook last year with 11.6, 14 and 15.6 inch models, Asus today continues to offer a new 13-inch version of the S301. The device possesses a touch feature that supports well for Windows 8 and competitive price on ultrabook market from 700 USD (equivalent to about 14.7 million ).

Because at a lower price than the Zenbook line, Vivobook S301 has an incomplete shell from the alloy. The underside of the machine is plastic and can be easily disassembled to fully reveal the internal components. The Ultrabookreview page evaluates how easy it is to replace the hard drive, but it is quite difficult for RAM memory to be soldered to the motherboard.

S301 has 8 GB of RAM memory, optional 750 GB hard drive. It uses the latest Intel Core i3, i5 and Haswell processors. This is also one of the few 13-inch ultrabook models on the market that allows AMD Radeon discrete graphics card options.

S301 brings 13.3 inch screen resolution of 1,366x768 pixels, supports touch. The supplied battery has a capacity of 38 Whr which allows for use in about 4.5 hours. Machine weighing 1.7 kg.
