Touch screen will be more popular on ultrabook.
According to PC World, Intel spokesman Becky Emmett has confirmed it will officially launch the Ivy Bridge chip generation in the Computex exhibition in Taiwan next week.
Some ultrabooks have an early touch screen launch this kind of hybrid device between laptop and tablet, like Lenovo's ultrbook model IdeaPad Yoga - device using Windows 8 operating system with Metro interface on the screen 13.3 inches, weighing 1.4 kg.
The ultrabook products currently have the lowest price of 800 USD. However, Intel expects that, by the end of the year, this starting price will drop to just $ 699.
Intel described, Ivy Bridge ultrabook with up to 20% higher performance compared to the previous generation processor Sandy Bridge, graphics chip will be able to perform twice as well. Meanwhile, in terms of design, ultrabook screen size less than 14 inches will be no more than 18mm thick, and equipped with USB 3.0 connection port and Thunderbolt.
In addition, Intel is on the road to upgrade about a third of ultrabook launched in 2013 with the next generation Ivy Bridge chip is Haswell, accompanied by slim design and longer battery life.
