According to previous information from Digitimes, Acer will bring the netbook running Google's Chrome operating system in the second half of this year. But recently, Digitimes said that Acer will release their netbook earlier, in mid-year, with the intention of promoting its business situation, as well as avoiding competition from Asus, HP and Samsung.
Digitimes also said Acer expects to sell 1 million "Chromebooks" in the first year. With the use of Chrome OS with Web-based applications, this netbook will be able to boot as well as operate safely, faster than Windows.
