6 Annoying Google Photos Features You Should Turn Off
Google Photos is one of the most popular photo management and editing apps today. However, it also has some unnecessary features, some of which can even be annoying when used daily. Below are a few unnecessary features on Google Photos that you can turn off.
Quick editing on Google Photos
The Quick Edit feature appears when you share photos from the Google Photos app. If you usually edit photos before sharing, you should ignore this interface. Go to the app settings , select Sharing > Quick Edit , and turn this setting off .
Photos from other apps on Google Photos
The photos and videos you save on your phone will appear in Google Photos. If the interface looks cluttered, you can rearrange it.
You tap on Photo Settings , then select Preferences .
Then tap Photo View and turn off Show content from other apps .
If you don't want strict control, tap Customize by app . Then select an app from this list to choose which app's content is displayed in Google Photos.
Photos of people and pets in Google Photos memories
You can easily turn off the display of people and pets in Memories.
Click on the "Preferences" option , then select "Memories" . Next, select "Hide people and pets" to proceed.
Next, you add the faces of the people and pets you want to block from the photo.

Promotional notifications on Google Photos

Videos automatically play on Google Photos
