30 ancient Kyoto tiles found under the sea off the island of Fukuoka, Japan

Recently, archaeologists have found more than 30 ancient bricks on the coast of Ainoshima Japan, these tiles are making the archeology of this country interesting.

Accordingly, many archaeologists said that these 30 ancient tiles may have fallen into the sea while traveling to Kyoto, Shingu town, Japan and lying in the sea for a very long time. And recently, a group of divers found them on the seabed off the island of Ainoshima.

Earlier, several ancient tiles similar to these newly discovered tiles were also unearthed in the ancient Heiankyo, Japan's ancient capital, once a fishing fisherman and found them caught in nets.

In the latest survey, divers and Japanese archaeologists found about 20 tiles in an area stretching about 40 meters below the seabed from east to west and at the same time adding another 10 tiles. found in the nearby area.

The ancient tiles were found to be 30 x 30 cm in size and almost completely preserved on the seabed, without any chipping or cracking.

It is known that these tiles called " kegogawara " were used to build the administrative capitals Dazaifu during the Heian period (794-1185), which was previously discovered in Meganeiwa waters.

Currently, this local maritime administration will directly manage the excavation, and the archaeological group is waiting to receive archaeological assistance from the Japan National Culture Commission and estimates the study will continue to last. until 2019.
