12 more potential companies join Microsoft's 'AI alliance'
Microsoft has just announced that there will be 12 more technology companies participating in its AI for Good program.
Microsoft has just announced that there will be 12 more technology companies participating in its AI for Good program, creating a potential network of collaborative businesses in the field of artificial intelligence.
AI for Good is a new initiative, run by Microsoft and the Social Tech Trust, created with a mission to foster collaboration, networking, experience exchange and technology support among active businesses. In the field of AI, with 4 main aspects: AI for Earth, AI for Accessibility, AI for Humanitarian Action, and AI for Cultural Heritage. In particular, AI for Good will provide companies with access to Microsoft technologies, resources and expertise to help them develop and launch highly applicable products and solutions.
Commenting on this program, Microsoft CEO Startups UK in the UK, Amali de Alwis, said:
"These 12 companies are all the brightest and most advanced businesses in the UK, I am delighted to welcome them to the AI for Good network. Our overall goal is nothing more than an ambition to help. The world becomes more modern, comfortable and worth living by applying artificial intelligence technology to solve complex problems that are global challenges and difficult to solve by technology. "These companies have a lot of enthusiasm, determination, and ambition. Microsoft looks forward to supporting them in the opening phase of this arduous journey."
12 technology companies will participate in Microsoft's AI for Good program, including:
- Akari: AI supports businesses.
- Baobab: Group management service, ensuring privacy and security.
- BeneTalk: Therapy, support for people with language problems.
- Chatterbox: Online language training.
- Good Boost: Therapy, rehabilitation.
- EcoSync: Live add-ons.
- miiCARE: AI in geriatric field.
- MyCognition: Monitoring and treating mental health.
- OrxaGrid: Energy management.
- Hello Lamp Post: Public management service.
- Signly: Translation.
- Recycleye: Energy, recycling.
After joining the AI for Good network, these companies will be provided with space to run their businesses in the Microsoft for Startups office in Shoreditch, London.
