YouTube's PWA application is available on Microsoft Store

If you want to use the official YouTube application on Windows machines, you can now download YouTube's PWA version application from the Microsoft Store store. All familiar features are available in this version. Because of the Progressive Web-App (PWA - progressive web application), this is somewhat considered an official application.

What is Progressive Web App or PWA?

However there are some things to note.

This application is not authorized by Google and is not really a PWA application despite its name.

Although the web application has a notification but it is not a PWA, it is merely a package of the web application, opening the web page in an application's window, there are ads.

This application is not released by Microsoft Store but by third party named Pladoo Interative. However, it still works well and as a web application, there is no need to update much from Store. Pladoo said the application is part of the Windows Revival Project, which aims to bring applications to Windows 10 Mobile, based on PWA or the original application.
