Windows 10 KB5001330: Prevent these serious problems in the latest update
For Windows 20H2 version, Microsoft has released Windows 10 KB5001330, a required security update aimed at fixing some of the vulnerabilities and problems caused by the previous update.
However, many users report being unable to install the latest Windows updates.
If the installation is not successful, the computer will appear one of the following error messages:
- 0x800f081f
- 0x800f0984
- 0x800f0922
Many users have reported error 0x800f081f when downloading the KB5001330 update with Microsoft.
Temporary profile error
This bug was last reported last December, and it basically creates a new user profile after installing the cumulative update. When this happens, the user's files and settings may disappear.
The solution is you can either restore the update or manually move the user files.
Reduced FPS and Blue Screen of Death
On Reddit, many users reflect when playing the game, the screen is jerky and the frame rate drops sharply. Luckily, this issue can be resolved by manually uninstalling the cumulative update.
How to troubleshoot Windows 10 KB5001330
If you installed the Windows 10 KB5001330 update and are having problems, then the best way to fix it is to uninstall it with these steps:
Step 1: Open Settings (Settings app)
Step 2: Select 'Update & Security'.
Step 3: Select 'Windows Update'.
Step 4: Select 'View update history'.
Step 5: Select 'Uninstall updates' -> select KB5001330
Step 6: Reboot
Microsoft has yet to comment on this issue.
