After withdrawing the source, bringing the device to the house and placing it on the floor, Hannah, the American heard an explosion, accompanied by suspicious farting and smoke.
Luckily, the Dell Mini 9 netbook exploded only punctured the floor, not causing a fire.
Hannah immediately contacted the Dell manufacturer, who quickly took over the netbook via FedExed courier and sent Hannah a completely new replacement.
Dell responded that its engineers are conducting tests to determine the cause of the explosion. Dell is committed to reporting once the cause is determined.
Hardware.info identified from the pictures taken, the Dell Mini 9 had a problem due to battery explosion. Hopefully this is just a rare case and there won't be a mass recall of Dell Mini netbook batteries.
