Alternatively, you can click the ' Services ' tab to disable unnecessary services. You need to know for sure what services and programs you disable because this can sometimes affect the working of the computer. Its consequences can cause the operating system to lose some functionality, but we can still restore it by activating services in the same way.
If you use two or more operating systems on one computer and manage the boot sequence through the current Windows operating system, go to the 'Boot' tab and enter the lowest number under the ' Timeout ' section. The default timeout time for Windows is 30 seconds.

Whenever you buy a new computer or laptop, it integrates software, trial programs, or programs installed by the manufacturer. Part 4: Some other solutions
1. Device Manager
When you see the loading screen in Windows informing you that 'Starting Windows', it means that the operating system is loading all the necessary device and service drivers. Obviously disabling some drivers that Windows needs to load will improve the boot speed of the operating system. To do this, you must go to Device Manager inside Windows 7.
1. Click the Start menu and ' Control Panel '.
2. When in Control Panel, click ' Hardware and Sound '.
3. Under ' Devices and Printers ', click ' Device Manager '. This will display a window of all devices attached to your computer. By default, Windows must load drivers for all these devices.
4. Expand the device categories and discover which device you don't need to use. Right-click it and select ' Disable '. This will help Windows ignore the drivers for that device. Your task here is to ensure that you do not disable the devices needed for computer operation, such as network interfaces and display adapters.
2. Turn off the Search Indexing service
Search Indexing service is designed to speed up the search of files on computers, especially computers with large hard drive capacity. However, if your Windows 7 computer is slowing down, or the speed is getting worse, it is better to disable the Search Indexing service.
To turn off the Search Indexing service, right-click the C drive , select Properties to open the Properties window. There you find and select the General tab, then remove the Allow files on this drive to have contents indexed ., then click Apply changes to drive C :, subfolders and files on the next dialog box.
Click OK and wait for Windows 7 to make some necessary changes. Follow the same steps for all hard drives on your Windows 7 computer.
3. Check the Power Plan settings
Open Start Menu, then enter the keyword power plan into the Search frame and select Choose a power plan from the search results list.
In the Power Options window, in the Preferred plans section, click on High performance . If you don't see this option appear, click Show additional plans , then click the option.
4. ReadyBoost
ReadyBoost is one of the most well-known features on the Windows operating system and was first integrated on Windows Vista. This feature allows you to quickly use a USB flash driver to store temporary Windows files and the drive you use must have at least 256 MB of free space.
Just plug the USB Flash drive into your computer and select Speed up my system on the AutoPlay dialog box.
On the next dialog box, select Dedicate this device to ReadyBoost and click OK.
5. Upgrade hardware
In addition to methods to change the operating system configuration, you can also upgrade the hardware to do so. The recommended hardware upgrade here includes RAM and SSD. Faster RAM and better quality will speed up the boot process because Windows will use RAM for the entire process.
Hard drives are often the slowest component in a computer, this is because its function relies on the motion of electronic components instead of transistors. If you suspect your hard drive slows down your computer, you only have one solution, using SSD, which is a completely built-in drive of transistors and memory cells. This hard drive usually gives access speed twice as fast as conventional hard drives.
Microprocessors usually do not affect the boot time of computers much, but it can slow down in some way. To test this, open Task Manager (Ctrl + Shift + Esc) when Windows starts and check CPU usage. If you see a CPU usage of 100%, you need to replace the CPU. Note, the CPU needs to have the same socket as the motherboard, so you may need to replace the motherboard to match the new generation CPU.
