Japanese electronics company has officially entered the mini laptop market with the introduction of a model called LaVie Light, equipped with 8.9-inch screen and a classic square-shaped body.

NEC LaVie Light's design reminiscent of the "brick" laptops of the late 80s of the last century. If the manufacturer removed the touchpad and extended the keyboard to cover the entire area, the laptop would look like a Compaq-branded model launched in 1989.
