Let the mini laptop 'please' the user

But for mini Laptops to truly win users' trust, netbooks need to overcome the following major drawbacks.

Mini laptops (also known as netbooks) are emerging "phenomena" thanks to low prices and high performance. But to really win the trust of users, netbooks need to overcome the following major drawbacks.

Operating for at least 4 hours

This is a big problem because netbooks are only really useful when there is continuous activity of at least an hour and a half. In theory, some netbooks can run for at least 4 hours thanks to the thick and heavy battery expansion. However, it is much more ideal if these netbooks can be operated all day without charging. This is not a revelation - some mobile phones may not work all day.

Wireless connection everywhere

The second important feature is the Internet connection "anywhere". Now to do this, a netbook must have a 3G network card for use without WiFi. This is not the ideal method because it will cost you "money" for mobile network providers. Users dial and pay according to the connection time - unlike ISP services that use unlimited time.

Another problem is bandwidth. While new devices for listening to music and watching mobile TV are increasing, phone companies still have limited traffic. Unlimited bandwidth is still the story of the future.

Hardware platform

In this respect, netbooks have met almost completely. The Intel Atom platform becomes the benchmark for netbooks thanks to its advantages. For example, the MSI Wind, which runs OS X, works as well as a 1.6 GHz G5 PowerMac. However, it should be noted that discrete graphics cards (typically Asus machines) or multiple "blinking" keyboards are not really necessary and are quite battery consuming. Netbooks need to be more responsive right from the basics: The right speaker system, comfortable keyboard and flexible touchpad instead of just hovering around the screen.

Harder

Although Panasonic Toughbook is not really "rugged" as its name suggests, at least this netbook adapts to long-distance travel. Or Dell's Inspiron Mini 9 is a new step with a waterproof keyboard. But that is not enough. Having to carry a mattress bag to protect the phone is equally annoying as carrying the charger at all times.

It can be mentioned that Apple products, iBook, from the 2nd generation onwards, this model is designed very firmly, except for the screen, the parts are resistant to high impact.

Apple and OS X

Major PC makers are focusing on investing in netbooks, most recently Toshiba. But the most serious rival in this market is Apple. The need to install the Mac OS X operating system on mini laptops is real, as evidenced by enthusiastic homemade installations. According to some reports, Apple is also entering the market for this fertile netbook with Mac Book Nano in the design phase.

Without realizing this "danger", netbook makers on the market will soon be surpassed by Apple's creations in the near future.
