Not surprisingly, Android phones and tablets are most likely to be infected. In contrast to Android, the malware infection rate of Window PCs has tended to decrease. The reason may be because Android is currently the most popular operating system. Also thanks to the strong growth of smartphones in the last few years, making use of malware-containing software by individuals and organizations to sabotage, spy on, or steal user information becomes popular on mobile phones.
This report also shows that malware is primarily infected through devices that use a network of things that connect to the Internet of Things - IoT and also alert smartphone manufacturers to increase management, monitoring and security on its technology products.
