iPhone is the best selling technology product in 2017

If you bought an iPhone this year, you're not alone.

According to USA Today, the iPhone once again became the best-selling technology product of the year. Even more impressive is the high sales of iPhones, far more than any other product on the list.

According to Daniel Ives, an analyst with GBH Insights and who made this list for USA Today, Apple sold 223 million iPhones in 2017 , while last year it was 211 million.

Even the 2nd person is far away. Accordingly, Samsung followed Apple, calculated by selling both Galaxy S8 and Note 8, but all also only 33 million.

Even adding the sales figures of all four names topping the list of best-selling technology products this year is not the same as the number of iPhones Apple sold.

iPhone is still a trademark that users have used, no matter how sad they are

Other products named in the list also include Amazon Echo Dot - 24 million, Apple Watch - 20 million and Nintendo Switch - 15 million.

Brand Products Number of copies (million pieces) Apple iPhone 223 phones Samsung Galaxy S8 phones and Note 8 33 Amazon Echo Dot smart speakers 24 Apple Watch watches 20 Nintendo Switch 15 gaming machines

However, it is important to remember that the number of iPhone sales includes all the latest iPhone models: iPhone 8, 8 Plus and iPhone X.

There is no official information from Apple about the number of iPhones sold this year but according to Bloomberg, the demand for iPhone X is actually lower than expected and users still prefer cheaper smartphones.

Although the number of iPhones sold this year is very high, it still loses the record in 2015 - 230 million iPhones. According to IDC, the current smartphone market share is still dominated by Android when accounting for 85%, iOS only has 15%.
