Instructions for searching and following WhatsApp channels

 When you join or follow a channel on WhatsApp, channel members or administrators will not know your phone number. This is similar to when you create your WhatsApp channel. The article below will guide you to find WhatsApp channels.

How to search and follow WhatsApp channels

Step 1:

At the interface on the WhatsApp application, click on Update below. Next, you will be transferred to the interface with the Channel section as shown below, click Find Channel.

At this point, users will be introduced to the channel feature on WhatsApp. Click Agree and continue .

 

Step 2:

Now displaying WhatsApp channels, you will see WhatsApp channel classification tabs for you to look through. You click on each tab to view WhatsApp channels.

Step 3:

Click on the WhatsApp channel you want to join, then click Follow in the top right corner of the interface. You do the following as usual to follow other WhatsApp channels.

Step 4:

Click on the channel to read the content in the channel. The information in the channel will only be posted by the administrator, channel followers cannot text or send any information. This feature is similar to creating a notification channel on Instagram.

By default, WhatsApp channels have notifications turned off. To turn on WhatsApp channel notifications , just click on the crossed out bell icon .

 

Step 5:

To unfollow this WhatsApp channel, click on the 3-dot icon in the top right corner of the interface. Next, click Unfollow . Now you are asked if you want to unfollow the channel, click Unfollow to agree .
