After leaving the images, information about the Slate 500 tablet models appearing on its official website, yesterday, HP officially released the initial information about this tablet. Accordingly, HP Slate will be targeted as a device for corporate customers, not for individual consumers, Laptoping's website reported.

It is still unclear whether the specs or the time in the upcoming Fall Slate will officially appear. But it seems that HP will divide its tablet into two directions, one for business customers using Windows 7 while consumers will own WebOS devices.

Palm CEO Jon Rubinstein also said that HP and Palm are now using WebOS to work on other products including smartphones and netbooks. However, this seems to contradict HP's previous statement that it will not market a WebOS-powered netbook.
