The steps for users to use and benefit from this feature are:

Set the Bluetooth peripheral in pairing mode.
If the peripheral is near, Windows will automatically display a notification to the user.
Select Connect to start pairing.
When the external device is no longer in pairing mode or is no longer nearby, Windows will delete the notification from the Action Center.

Step 1: Open the Settings section and click the Devices icon.

Step 2: Click on the Bluetooth icon and other devices on the left, then select (enable - by default) or uncheck (turn off) the Connect to certain Bluetooth devices quickly option .

The downloadable .reg files below will modify the DWORD value in the registry key below:

1= On

First you do one of two steps:

Step 1a : To enable logical pairing with Bluetooth peripheral devices.

(This is the default setting).

Step 2: Save the downloaded .reg file to your desktop.

Step 3: Double-click the downloaded .reg file to merge it.

Step 4: When prompted, click on Run , Yes (UAC), Yes and OK to approve the merging process.

Step 5: Now you can delete the downloaded .reg file if you want.
