How to turn on Dark Mode on Chrome
Dark Mode (Dark Mode) seems to be becoming a very popular feature on online services and tools recently, and of course Chrome - the most commonly used web browser the world is not out of that trend.
A few weeks ago, the Chrome team opened their eyes to the fact that they were completing the final stages to prepare the official Dark Mode for the Google Chrome browser, and today, this new feature has finally been launched on Chrome on all the most popular platforms, including Mac, Windows and Linux.

In essence, Dark Mode has a similar interface to the dark background in Incognito mode.
On Chrome 74, this feature has been developed and supported quite well for Windows, you can still enable it to try the experience through the following steps.
If you use Chrome on Windows 10, you need to turn on Dark Mode on Windows 10 first and then follow the instructions below.
Step 1: Update Chrome to the latest version 73.0.3683.75 or 74
Step 2: Right-click the Google Chrome shortcut on the screen and select Properties.
Step 3: Add the --enable-features = WebUIDarkMode --force-dark-mode to the Target field, behind the phrase 'chrome.exe' (refer to the screenshot below).
If Chrome is version 74, you only add --force-dark-mode .

Step 4: Click Apply to accept the change.
Step 5: Turn off Chrome and open it again, you will see this browser is displayed with the Dark Mode interface.
Chrome's new tab page in Dark mode, looks quite similar to incognito mode. On Chrome 74, the word Google turned white instead of multicolored as on Chrome 73.
On Chrome 73, Google only darkened the menu bar and address, settings pages, and others remained blank, nothing changed. The text in the submerged menu is quite difficult to see, it only turns white when hovering over.
The dark interface on Chrome 74 is more complete, as you have seen in the video.
Besides Dark Mode, this update also brings some noticeable changes and enhancements to Chrome, including account and account synchronization enhancements, support for hard keys. convenient and especially the Auto Picture in Picture mode.
If you don't like this mode, you can use the Chrome theme to customize the dark mode to suit your needs.
