How to change video background on CapCut

Instructions to change video background on CapCut

Step 1:

At the interface on CapCut we will create a new video editing project.

Step 2:

We will open the selected video as the new background for the main video, then click on the Overlay feature below. Continue, you will click Add overlay to insert the main video in the album on the phone.

 

Step 3:

As a result, you will see the original video inserted into the background video as shown below. We will proceed to edit this original video. You look below and then click on the Crop image feature .

 

Step 4:

Then the user clicks on the Remove background tool to delete the original video background that you have uploaded to Capcut. Then the original video will be removed from the background, removing the background completely and leaving only the subject.

Note, you should choose a video with a simple background to easily remove the background and separate the subject from the background.

Step 5:

We will move the subject, zoom in or out of the subject to fit the background video behind. Finally, you adjust the video, add effects or color filters, insert text into the video if needed,. Click the export icon in the upper right corner to export the video.
