Instructions to adjust video speed on CapCut

Step 1:

First we will also upload the video we want to edit speed to the CapCut application interface to proceed with editing.

 

Step 2:

Switch to the video editing interface, we click on the Video Timeline bar and then click on Speed ​​below. Now you will see there are 2 video speed options, Normal and Bend.

Normal: This feature allows to change the video speed at a fixed number from the beginning to the end of the video.

Bend: When using this feature, the application will give you a tool to customize the video speed in every video scene.

 

Step 3:

The video speed adjustment interface with the Normal option will be as shown below. Default video speed at 1x normal. You move the dot to the right to fast forward the video, drag to the left to slow down the video.

Step 4:

With the custom type of speed Bend , you will have many types of adjustments, change the video speed in the scenes as you like.

 

You choose a speed adjustment type and then click the Edit button to change. You will now see the tempo of the video to fast forward or slow down , by adjusting the yellow line .

Step 5:

In the process of adjusting the video speed, you can press Add beat to create a new beat for the video and then adjust, or click Delete a certain beat if you want to skip the beat in the video.

Finally, after we have finished editing the video speed, fast forward or slow down the video, we proceed to export the video as usual.
