Instructions on changing the background color of an image in Paint on Windows 11
Step 1:
We open the Paint application on the computer, then open the image as usual. Next, we click on the Layers icon as shown below.
Step 2:
Now, on the right side of the screen, you will see an additional layer. Right-click on that layer and select "Change color ." Or, simply double-click on the white layer to change the background color.
Step 3:
Paint displays an interface that allows you to choose a background color for your image.
We click on the color we want to use for the background, and finally click OK to save this new background color.
The result will be a new background for the image, as shown below.
