How to block reposting videos on Instagram

With the launch of the Repost feature on Instagram, users can now share other people's posts and videos directly to their own profile. If you want to prevent people from reposting your content on Instagram, you can simply disable the repost feature for your account by adjusting your privacy settings. Here's how to stop reposting videos on Instagram

 

How to block reposting videos on Instagram

With posts enabled by default you will see below your Instagram Reels posts and videos.

You'll also see a Repost section in your Instagram interface with content you've reposted from other Instagram accounts.

 

Step 1:

We access the Instagram interface of our personal page, then click on the 3 dash icon .

 

Step 2:

Switch to the settings interface for your Instagram account, click on Share and reuse .

 

Step 3:

By default, sharing all content posted on your Instagram account is enabled. To turn off sharing Instagram videos to your account, we turn off Repost posts and videos .

Step 4:

Return to your personal Instagram interface and you will see that the Repost item has been hidden from the interface .

When you post a new Reels video or Instagram post, the Repost button will no longer appear for others to repost your post.
