How to delete repost on Instagram

Instagram has just launched the Repost feature, similar to the repost or retweet function on Threads. Instagram's new repost button makes it easier to reshare posts or Reels directly to your personal page. However, it's easy to accidentally tap the repost button because it's located between the comment and share icons. Here's how to delete a repost on Instagram.

 

How to delete repost on Instagram

Step 1:

You go to your Instagram page and you will see the repost icon as shown below. Click on this icon and you will see all the reposted content from other Instagram accounts , including Reels videos or posts.

 

Step 2:

Click on the reposted content you want to delete, then click on the repost icon again to delete it.

 

As a result you will see that the Instagram repost has been removed from your Instagram repost list.

 

In addition, in the interface of your Instagram reposts, we can hold down on the reposted content image and then click on the Delete repost icon to delete the repost on Instagram.
