Google is disabling one of the most important features of SEO
Request Indexing will be disabled in the next few weeks, and Google is disabling one of the most important features of SEO.
Recently, Google announced that it would temporarily disable SEO Request Indexing for the next few weeks. This is what Google is required to do in order to make infrastructure changes.
Google reassures website owners that their content is still indexed through alternative methods. These include passive methods like sending update URLs to Google .
Disabling Request Indexing will cause some problems for Google search results. This change forces webmasters to make adjustments while ensuring their site remains high on the list during the year-end shopping season.
Request Indexing is part of the URL Inspection tool within Google's Search Console. It is used to request crawling of individual URLs.
"We have disabled the URL Inspection tool's Request Indexing feature to make some infrastructure changes , " Google said. "We expect to activate this tool over the next few weeks. We continue to find and index content through our usual methods."
Site managers will certainly not complain if Google turns off Request Indexing to bring them valuable upgrades. We'll have to wait a few weeks to see how Google's infrastructure changes improve SEO systems.
