Connectify , a free utility, is in beta, is a simple way to turn a laptop running Windows 7 into a true Wi-Fi Access Point, allowing other devices to connect to the Internet.
- After installation, the program's icon will be located in the system tray.
- Click on the icon and select the Internet connection you want to share.
- Initialize the name and password of the wireless network you want to share.
- Click Internet Sharing button to activate Wi-Fi network from laptop.
Then, other Wi-Fi-enabled devices like laptops and mobile phones just need to make the connection in the usual way and enter the correct password above.
