The 17-inch MacBook Pro has a thinner and lighter design than previous versions. Apple once called this laptop the thinnest in the world in the 17-inch category when it introduced the public last month. The 17-inch MacBook Pro weighs 3kg and is only 1-inch thick. The price of this laptop is the same - $ 2,799.

Apple has announced that it will release the 17-inch MacBook Pro from the end of January but then postponed it. The laptop has now appeared, meaning slow compared to the time of the half-month announcement.

The 17-inch MacBook Pro is equipped with 2.66GHz Intel Core 2 Duo chip, 4GB RAM, discrete Nvidia GeForce 9400M graphics card and integrated GeForce 9600MT graphics card, 320GB hard drive, SuperDrive DVD burner.

The 17-inch MacBook Pro version supports a 1920 x 1200 pixel LED display and Mini DisplayPort to connect external display devices such as Apple's LED Cinema Display. The 17-inch MacBook Pro also has a FireWire 800 port, 3 USB 2.0 ports, an ExpressCard / 34 slot and a Gigabit Ethernet port.

Unlike previous versions, the 17-inch MacBook Pro redesigned without a removable battery. Apple offers a new battery that is 40% larger than previous versions, and can be used continuously for up to 8 hours on a single charge. New batteries are also said to be able to recharge up to 1000 times compared to 200-300 times as traditional laptop batteries.
