This means that the new MacBook Pro can be used with Dell's 5K screen or any screen with 4K / 5K resolution that the user is using.
This will be a great advantage for graphic designers, photographers and many other related jobs that need high-resolution screens.
In particular, Apple also emphasized that the 2015 Mac Pro 15 inch is equipped with an AMD Radeon R9 M370X graphics chip with 80% faster graphics processing speed than its predecessor. Thanks to that, high-resolution support is no longer too difficult for the 15-inch MacBook Pro. Apple also said that two models of MacBook Retina Pro (2013) and iMac (2014) will also support the 5K screen.
Apple first introduced the 5K screen support feature in April next to the release of OS X 10.10.3 update. However, only Mac Pro (2013) and iMac models were supported. Until now only Dell's 5K UP2715K 27-inch screen is able to support 5K resolution display on this Apple laptop model.
