Ultrabook appeared in Vietnam since late 2011 with high-priced products. Acer, Lenovo, Toshiba are the names that soon launched a new product line. However, this market is particularly exciting when Acer and Samsung, the brands with good prices, join.

According to many retailers in Ho Chi Minh City, although coming later, Samsung's Series 5 Ultra makes an impression thanks to good order volume. Meanwhile, Acer is 20 million earlier, while Asus and HP emphasize fashion looks.

Here is a summary of the best selling ultrabooks in the Vietnamese market through a number of big dealers.

Samsung Series 5 Ultra

According to many dealers in Ho Chi Minh City, the Series 5 Ultra is the ultra-thin laptop line that sells well despite its appearance. Good price and beautiful design, powerful configuration are the advantages of Series 5. Samsung equips its products with HD 300 nit LED SuperBright screen with anti-glare screen technology that helps to see clearly in the sun.

Both versions of the company use Intel Core i5 processor, 4 GB RAM can be upgraded to 8 GB and 16 GB SSD hard drive and 500 GB HDD, 14-inch version can be upgraded to 1TB. The 13-inch version is 19.9 million, while the 14-inch model costs 22.9 million.

Asus Zenbook

Zenbook is noted for its distinctive, fashionable style. Asus Ultrabook line includes two models UX21 (11.6-inch screen) and UX 31 (13.3 inches). The product has a monolithic aluminum design, the front has a pattern of concentric circles of fashion.

The Zenbook is about 3 mm thin at the front and 9 mm at the back. UX21 sold in Vietnam equipped with Intel Core i5 processor with 1.6 GHz speed, 4 GB RAM, 128 GB SSD hard drive. Selling price of the machine is from 26 million VND. Meanwhile, the UX 31 version costs nearly VND 29 million.

Acer Aspire S3

Aspire S3 is one of the low-priced ultrabooks.

Aspire S3 appears early and has a low price. This product uses a Core i5 chip clocked at 1.6 GHz and can be clocked up to 2.3 GHz via Turbo technology. Battery life is up to 5 hours. Screen size 13.3 inch resolution and bright 1.366 x 768 pixels.

The downside of S3 is the use of integrated graphics, so the Aspire S3 is not a suitable device for gaming. The lowest priced version in Vietnam is 18 million dong and the cheapest Ultrabook.

HP Folio 13

The HP Folio 13 is HP's first Ultrabook, which has a lot of design features from its ProBook line, such as a scratched aluminum upper case. Folio 13 has a thickness of 18 mm and weighs 1.49 kg.

Machine equipped with 13.3 inch screen resolution of 1366 x 768 pixels with Intel Core i5 processor speed of 1.6 GHz, 4 GB of RAM memory and 128 GB SSD hard drive. The battery life of the manufacturer is 9.5 hours continuously. The current selling price of the product is VND 26.4 million. After this product, HP will sell Specter versions with more beautiful and advanced designs.

Lenovo Ideapad U300s

Lenovo's model has a good design and sold out soon. The U300s does not show off its thinness thanks to the bevelled line by the square lines. It has a lightweight, lightweight aluminum casing, only 14.9 mm thin, weighing 1.32 kg.

This product is equipped with Intel Core i5 2nd generation processor (or optional Core i7) with Intel Turbo Boost Technology 2.0 technology. Screen 13.3 inch HD 16: 9 wide ultra-thin, using 128 GB SSD hard drive (can upgrade to 256 GB). Lenovo said that the battery can be used for 8 hours, charging 50% within 30 minutes. The current selling price of the machine is VND 26 million in Vietnam.
