32 Facebook shortcuts help you work faster

With these shortcuts, you can manipulate everything with Facebook extremely fast without having to use the mouse. Suppose if you like a Status, you just need to press "L" to "Like" or "C" to "Comment". Depending on the operating system and web browser you use, clicking is different.

Part 1: Shortcuts on Facebook page

Shortcuts depend on the type of computer and browser you use:

With Windows:

- Internet Explorer browser on Windows: Alt + #, then press Enter

- Firefox browser on Windows: Shift + Alt + #

- Chrome browser on Windows PC: Alt + #

With Mac:

- Safari browser on Mac: Ctrl + Opt + #

- Firefox browser on Mac: Ctrl + Opt + #

- Chrome browser on Mac: Ctrl + Opt + #

- 0 : Open the "Help Center" page.

- 1: Return to the Home page.

- j and k keys: Scroll up and down the Newsfeed posts.

- Enter / Return key : Expand the selected Status.

- Key p: Upload a new Status.

- L key : Like or dislike posts on Facebook.

- c key : Comment on the selected post.

- s key: Share the selected post.

- o key: Open the attachment in the selected post.

- /: Search key.

- Q key : Search in chat list.

Part 3: Messenger shortcuts

- Ctrl + g : Search for conversations.

- Ctrl + q: Show / hide shortcuts.

- Ctrl + m: Open a new message.

- Ctrl + y: Store the conversation.

- Ctrl + z : Delete the conversation.
