Toshiba's recall order, the Product Safety Commission for US consumers and the Health Ministry of Canada applies to Toshiba Satellite T123 laptops, Satellite T135D and Satellite Pro T130. The computers that encountered this problem were sold at electronics stores, retail stores and online stores from August 2009 to the end of last month at a price of between $ 600 and $ 800.
Toshiba also recommends that users should download BIOS computer software from its website. This software will detect which Toshiba laptop is too hot. And if necessary, users need to contact the information directly for free repair.
Toshiba received 129 complaints from customers that its laptops were too hot and distorted the plastic casing around the power adapter. In it, the company received two reports of users suffering from burns and two reports of property damage.
