Quickly summarize documents in Google Drive using Gemini.
Gemini has recently updated its file storage options to include a document summarization feature. This means you no longer need to download your data before uploading it to Gemini; you can now use the document summarization option stored in Google Drive. Below is a guide on how to summarize Google Drive documents using Gemini.
How to summarize documents in Google Drive using Gemini
Step 1:
Open Google Drive where the document is stored, find the document you want to summarize, then click the three-dot icon and select "Summary this file" .
Step 2:
Immediately afterwards, on the left side of the interface, you will see a summary of the document you have selected, as shown below.
Additionally, when you open a document , the summary created with Gemini automatically appears on the right-hand side.
Step 3:
In the summary box, you can use some suggested resources from Gemini, as shown in the image. If you want to ask Gemini directly, select "Ask Gemini" to open the chat window.
Step 4:
Now you can directly enter your question in the box to continue accessing the document according to the content you need.
