Prevent Uber from tracking location on iPhone when not using the application
Most iOS apps require the user's location to provide two choices: you can choose "Always" to always provide the location when the application is accessed or only when using the application "While Using the App ". However, Uber only lets you choose "Always" or "Never", which means that the application can track you even after you finish your trip and stop using Uber.
With iOS 11, everything has changed. Apple forces applications to provide "While Using" options when licensing location access. While the Uber application claims to abide by Apple's conditions, it always has access to your location if you don't revoke previous access.

So to prevent Uber from tracking the location even if you do not use this service, how to do it? Please see the details in the article!
First, you need to access Settings> Privacy> Location Services on your iPhone.
Scroll down and click the Uber application in the list. After that, choose While Using the App - Uber will now only have access to your location when you are accessing the application.
At Location Services, you can also customize some applications when accessing your location accordingly.
Note: Certain features may not work if you disable this option on some applications. For example: The weather application running in the background will not be able to send weather notifications if you turn off location access.
