Uber application on the phone will stop working after 2 more weeks
After the historic acquisition of Grab and Uber in Southeast Asia, the Uber application will no longer work in Vietnam after 2 weeks. Meanwhile, Uber drivers and customers, customers of UberEats, suppliers and shipping partners will be merged all into Grab's platform.
This means that after two more weeks, exactly on April 8, if Uber drivers (including cars and motorbikes) want to continue practicing, they will have to switch to the Grab application.

Uber Eats alone will operate until the end of May. Then their shipping partners and restaurants will complete the move to GrabFood platform.
This was announced after Grab officially acquired Uber in Southeast Asia including Cambodia, Indonesia, Malaysia, Myanmar, Philippines, Singapore, Thailand and Vietnam.
Tan Hooi Ling, Grab co-founder, said the company expanded rapidly and effectively GrabFood in Southeast Asia in the next quarter.
