This is the next move after Microsoft announced that the Outlook service will also stop supporting iOS 13 in the near future. According to the newly released policy, Microsoft products will only support 2 versions of iOS.

With iOS 15 in beta and about to officially launch, Microsoft has prepared a schedule to stop supporting iOS 13. Teams and Outlook will stop supporting iOS 13 from the beginning of October and expect to complete the process. End of support in mid-October.

Microsoft recommends that users upgrade to a new version of iOS (or upgrade their device if necessary). In addition, Microsoft also encourages users to update to the latest versions of Teams if they are using versions older than a year.

Microsoft's new policy is designed to help them invest resources more efficiently. By supporting only two versions of iOS, Microsoft will ensure to provide users with a smoother experience due to the lack of resource spread.

If everything goes according to schedule, iOS 15 will officially roll out to users in September along with new iPhone models.
