If teachers don't use video editing software, they can use Canva to create automatic video subtitles. With just a few clicks, the video will have automatic subtitles, and teachers only need to adjust the subtitles that appear in the video. Below is a guide on how to create automatic video subtitles using Canva.
How to create automatic video subtitles in Canva AI
Step 1:
We choose whether to make the Canva video horizontal or vertical, then upload the video to Canva as usual.
Step 2:
After successfully uploading the video, click on the Text section , then look to the side and click on the Annotations section under Automatic Text .
Step 3:
Now we will click on Create caption below to add subtitles to the video on Canva.
As a result, you will see subtitles displayed below the video, as shown in the image below. Click on the subtitle line to proceed with editing.
Step 4:
Here you can further change the font, size, color, or add effects if desired. Canva separates each subtitle line so we can adjust them, and edit the subtitles again if needed.
Finally, we export the video as usual.
