Instructions for syncing extended folders into SkyDrive
TipsMake.com - Microsoft has released SkyDrive application installed on computers and phones to easily sync data from the computer to the cloud and vice versa.
However, by default SkyDrive only syncs the data that is located in the C: Users folder . User Name SkyDrive on your computer. If you want to sync additional folders on your computer without having to copy the data to the folder above, follow the instructions below.
Start the command window with Administrator rights: go to Start enter cmd in the search box, right-click the search result cmd.exe select Run as Administrator .
At the command line, enter the following command:
mklink / d '% userprofile% SkyDriveMusic' C: Music
With the above command, any file placed in the C: Music folder will also be automatically uploaded to SkyDrive. You can replace C: Music with the absolute path to the folder you want to sync to SkyDrive.
