However, the text formatting in Notepad is hidden so you need to enable it, following the instructions in the article below.

How to format text in Notepad Windows 11

Step 1:

Users click on the gear icon in the top right corner of the interface to access the settings interface for Notepad.

Step 2:

Next, we click on Formatting and then activate On mode to enable formatting for Notepad on Windows 11 computer.

Step 3:

Back to the Notepad interface, we will see the text formatting customization toolbar as shown below.
