How to Zoom in on Mac
Use Trackpad
Open a page or application that supports zoom, be it a website, image, or document.
Place two fingers on your Mac's trackpad.
Move two fingers apart. The screen at the mouse pointer position will be magnified.
Repeat this operation to zoom in further.
You can also use two fingers to double-tap the touchpad to zoom in.
Use keyboard shortcuts
Open a page or application that supports zoom, be it a website, image, or document.
Hold down the key ⌘ Command, then press the key +. The screen will be magnified at the center.
You can zoom in further with each key press +.
Click View in the row of options on the upper left side of the screen, then click Zoom In to zoom in to the center of the screen.
Hold the key ⌘ Commandand press the key -. The screen will be minimized.
Turn on the Zoom feature
Click the Apple icon in the upper left corner of the screen.
Click System Preferences . It's near the top of the drop-down menu.
Click Accessibility . It's near the bottom-right corner of the "System Preferences" window.
Click the Zoom action located in the left sidebar of the "Accessibility" window.
Check the box to the left of "Use keyboard shortcuts to zoom". The option is at the top of the "Accessibility" page. When checked, the shortcut settings for screen zooming will be enabled:
⌥ Option+ ⌘ Command+ 8- Zoom in or out with a fixed level.
⌥ Option+ ⌘ Command- Zoom in when the Zoom feature is enabled.
⌥ Option+ ⌘ Command+ -- Zoom out when the Zoom feature is enabled.
⌥ Option+ ⌘ Command+ - Turn on/off the image smoothing feature, to remove pixels in images that are enlarged many times.
Click More Options . It's at the bottom right of the "Accessibility" window.
On this page, you can also change the zoom from "Fullscreen" to "Picture-in-Picture" (enlarge the window next to the mouse pointer) by clicking Click the box next to "Zoom Style" near the bottom of the window and select the style you like.
Set the "Maximum Zoom" and "Minimum Zoom" values. Click and drag the appropriate slider to the right/left to increase/decrease the value.
See screen motion settings. You have three options for how to switch to another part of the screen during launch:
Continuously with pointer – The screen will move according to the mouse pointer.
Only when the pointer reaches an edge – The screen will scroll when the mouse pointer moves to the edge of the screen.
So the pointer is at or near the center of the screen – The screen will move to keep the mouse pointer always in the center.
Click the option you want to apply a motion style to the screen when zoomed in.
Click OK . The selected shortcut will allow you to zoom in or out on the desktop and windows that don't support zooming on Mac computers.
